Spanish Minister of Agriculture, Food & Environment visits Aceites Maeva facilities and HQ in Granada
Minister García Tejerina was received upon arrival at Aceites Maeva by Juan Torres-Morente, President of the company, his daughter and Director, Ms. Amalia Torres-Morente and José Manuel Ramirez Sanchez, Commercial Director of the company. From there, the Minister and her companions moved to the mill, warehouses, and bottling plant, where she was presented with the factory’s industrial data.
Subsequently, they visited the production lines of the olive oil sprays with no gas or alcohol added, which impressed the minister with its advanced technology.
During the visit, Maeva presented the range of Toro-Maeva products, a result of the strategic alliance between the Osborne and Maeva companies which partnered for the purpose of international distribution of extra virgin olive oil.
The Minister highlighted that the collective work of three generations of the Torres-Morente family is reflected in one of the most modern plants in Europe.
Finally, the Minister said she is proud of the investment made by Aceites Maeva in technology, development, and innovation and that the Ministry will continue to support businesses with such initiatives.
Maeva’s central facilities, the home of national and international operations, generates an annual volume of about 27,000,000 kg of extra virgin olive oil, according to Anierac. This production volume makes Maeva the leading company in the market during consecutive years.
